Dr Charles Howard
Born and raised in Ohio, Dr Howard was a varsity swimmer at Ohio State University and graduated from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. After graduation, he and his wife Jo moved to Oregon in order to take advantage of the many outdoor opportunities the beautiful Northwest has to offer. Photography, hiking, woodworking and cheering on “The Buckeyes” are some of Dr Howard’s interests when not creating healthy smiles.
Dr Howard is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, MPY Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry and has achieved the level of “Fellow” in that organization which is dedicated to promoting continuing education in dentistry. Dentistry is constantly changing and requires a commitment to lifelong learning in order to meet patient needs. To stay updated in specific general dentistry areas, Dr. Howard has belonged to five different study clubs over the years and is currently active in two. Dr. Howard also is a participant in Salem’s Neighborhood Dentistry Program, Donated Dental Services of Oregon and volunteers in the Medical Teams International mobile dental clinic.
